Personal Experience & Biography

She has been a full professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Skopje since 2013, and from 2004 to 2023, she was a professor of Child and Adolescent Psychopathology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University “St. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje. From 2004 to 2023, she was the head of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University Psychiatric Clinic in Skopje. Professor Raleva initiated the establishment of the specialization in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and led it from 2015 to 2023. She has participated in the preparation and implementation of several international and national projects in the field of child and adolescent mental health and is the author or co-author of 44 papers published in professional and scientific journals in the field. From 2009 to 2022, she was the National Collaborator for Violence Prevention at the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the WHO, Skopje Office. She is a collaborator on the European Report on Child Abuse Prevention (WHO, 2013) and the principal investigator of the Study on Adverse Childhood Experiences and Their Impact on Health-Related Behaviors (WHO, 2014).
