Welcome to Alternativa Group. We are a Center of Excellence for Human Systems and consist of:

1. Institute Alternativa – European accredited Institute for professional education for family and systemic psychotherapy (EAPTI)

2. Psychological Center Alternativa – a center for mental health prevention and diagnostics, individual, partner and family psychotherapy and psychoeducation for the general population and organizational systems
3. NGO Association Alternativa – association for support, development and promotion of the organization and functioning of individual, partnership, parental, family, school, health, social, business and other humane systems in the community and beyond.
4. Centre of Excellence in Parenting Alternativa – center for professional training and development of evidence-based parenting programs aimed at promoting mental health and well-being of children and adolescents and preventing domestic violence

Our Vision

We believe in a society where by sharing knowledge and skills we expand choices and create prosperous opportunities and alternative solutions for all. We respect the attitude according to which each individual is a separate bio-psycho-social system who simultaneously belongs to different human systems, which he influences and is influenced by. We advocate for the creation of equal opportunities for all, so that they can reach their development potentials and their rights to a healthy life and well-being, by strengthening and expanding their capacities, with the support of the immediate environment and the wider community.

Our Mission and Goals

We were founded with the aim of prevention and promotion of mental health by organizing and implementing professional education, psychoeducation, and psychotherapy based on family and systemic theory and practice, which are culturally and gender sensitive. In addition, we promote and develop systemic ideas and practice in understanding the functioning of differently organized human systems in different contexts (individual, partnership, parental, family, school, health, social, business and other human systems in the community and beyond), based on respect for gender, religious and cultural differences. The implementation and development of research activities in the respected area, such as national, regional, and international projects, is a regular activity in our Group.
